Spring is when Gauteng's party calendar wakes up: gardens open and every birthday between September and December starts competing for the same weekends. Three things are worth knowing before you book.
Book earlier than usual
Our normal guidance — book about two weeks ahead — stretches to three to four weeks for September, November and December. The minimum stays two days before your event, but in peak season that only gets you whatever castle is left, not the one you wanted. Booking mechanics and prices are in the pricing guide.
Weekdays cost less — if your crowd can make it
Castles hire from R610 on weekdays against R660 on weekends, and weekday dates are easier to get. For a small family party that's real value; for a classmates party, weekends usually still win — school-holiday weeks especially can thin the guest list, with families away. Pick the day for the guests first, the rate second.
Book water units early
Spring is when slip-n-slides and water slides come back into demand. If the plan involves water, book the unit with the same three-to-four-week lead as the castle.
The short version
Choose the date early, check the castle's dimensions against your space, and book three to four weeks out (water units too). WhatsApp us the date and suburb and we'll confirm availability — delivery, setup and collection run as always at the flat R200.
