Morning and midday party hours are usually untouched, and when a storm does interrupt, it's cake time indoors while it passes. The castle is back up within a minute of switching the blower on again.

The one thing to respect: wind

Rain is an inconvenience; wind is the safety matter. If the wind picks up enough to sway the castle's walls or shift garden furniture, get everyone off and switch the blower off until it calms — our rule is to stop above 24 km/h, which in practice means stopping when small trees start swaying or leaves and small branches are moving constantly. When it settles, switch on and the castle is up again in under a minute.
